 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress comedian, activist, and actress. Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her acting career as a young person soon after her move to the United States. In AT&T commercials she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 through 2016 and the year 2020. In addition to her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular in the series of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played an ongoing role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. After being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish and born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At two years of age She and her parents relocated to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. Her family's financial troubles caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly however she was kicked out of the school during her second year. Then, she earned an GED and earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
